Weight Loss Hypnotherapy and Coaching is one of the areas I have specialised in over the past 20 years. I offer a tailored support programme to you and your needs, working with you to motivate you to take action; to change your habits and behaviour around food and to teach you powerful tools and strategies that will set you up with the right mindset to be able to maintain your weight loss beyond our sessions together.
I work with you to deal with the psychological and motivational aspects of weight reduction, to work on your relationship with yourself, to alleviate compulsive eating, and deal with the underlying issues that stop you from losing weight, to change the self-defeating habits which are the source of overeating and obesity and to enhance your motivation to exercise. Whilst we will address your “eating strategy”, my approach using Hypnotherapy, Coaching, NLP and counselling skills is not about dieting or deprivation.

The Weight Hypnotherapy and You programme (WHY) is a solution-orientated approach to weight loss that focuses on you and your issues; addressing your habits and behaviours around food and eating, coping skills, how to manage cravings, mindset and physical exercise. What I offer you is a bespoke programme that works with your own individual issues and allows you to work at an individual pace with me. I will be alongside you every step of the way to support you in making the changes you require.
Typically, clients may have between 5, 8, 12 or more confidential sessions with me over a period of up to six months, to work through their weight issues. The first session is an in-depth session of up to 1 ½ hours and we will explore everything that has led up to your issues with weight and what you wish to achieve as a result of working with me. Each session thereafter is for a full hour.
This programme uses Hypnotherapy, NLP, Coaching, Counselling skills, Emotional Freedom (EFT), and Integral Eye Movement Therapy techniques to give you the tools to change your habits, behaviour and relationship with yourself and food, so that you feel motivated to lose and maintain your weight loss. Obviously, there is no magic wand, and your full commitment is required to get the results you require, but I will use my professional skills, extensive experience and a range of psychological techniques and therapeutic interventions to support you along the way.
